Creating nail art with quality nail decals is so easy!

One of the easiest ways to create stunning art, and quickest, is to use nail decals. The versatility of the design options that are available are unmatched. In addition you don't have to have any specialized skill like you need if you plan to hand paint the art, not to mention the supply of nail art brushes that are required.

What is the difference between a nail decal and a nail sticker?

We are often asked what the difference between nail decals and nail stickers is and if it matters. The truth is they both have their place and are excellent options for your art... it just depends. Nail stickers are going to be what you know as any other sticker. Made small enough to fit on a nail with a pull and stick adhesive on the back side of the design. Nail decals on the other hand are printed directly onto water transfer paper. When you wish to apply a decal you must first cut out the desired design, soak it in water, slide it off from the paper backing and then apply it to your nail.

Why use a nail decal when there are extra steps in the process?

The reason we often prefer to use a decal instead of a nail sticker is simple; designs and thickness. Often times stickers will be thicker and bulkier, making it more difficult to encapsulate underneath your gel nail polish top coat where as the naturally thinner nail decal is easier to get uniform coverage on and remove any air bubbles. This leads to a gel manicure that will not chip, crack or need fixing.
