SAGA Stamping Paint chrome 2
SAGA Professional Stamping Paint Chrome No. 02 (Silver)
SAGA Professional Stamping Paint Chrome No. 02 is the essential Silver Chrome in the metallic collection. It is designed to mimic the appearance of liquid silver or polished steel. Unlike a standard silver glitter polish, this "chrome" formula uses ultra-fine metallic pigments that create a smooth, reflective, mirror-like surface once transferred to the nail.
It is a "must-have" for winter-themed art, futuristic geometric patterns, and adding a jewelry-like finish to any manicure.
Key Product Features
-
Mirror Silver Finish: A high-shine, cool-toned metallic finish that looks like a solid metal plate on the nail.
-
Extreme Opacity: Highly concentrated metallic particles ensure that the silver remains bright and fully opaque, even when stamped directly over a solid black or dark navy base.
-
Air-Dry Efficiency: This is a lacquer-based paint that dries naturally in 15–20 seconds. No UV or LED lamp is required for the stamping layer.
-
Precision Transfer: The consistency is thin enough to pick up the most microscopic details—such as thin lines or intricate lace—while maintaining its metallic luster.

Professional Usage Tips
-
Vigorous Shaking: Metallic pigments are heavy and settle at the bottom of the bottle quickly. Shake the bottle very well before every use to ensure you get a consistent chrome finish rather than a "watery" gray.
-
The 2-Second Window: Chrome paints dry faster than standard enamels. You have a very short window to pick up the design after scraping. Work quickly to ensure the design stays "tacky" enough to stick to your stamper.
-
Plate Maintenance: Silver residue can be difficult to see but will dull future colors. Clean your metal plates with 100% pure acetone and a fresh lint-free wipe after every single use.
-
Top Coat "Float": To preserve the mirror-like shine, do not press the top coat brush into the paint. Apply a generous bead of top coat and "float" it over the design to avoid dragging the metallic flakes, which can cause the chrome to look "brushed" or streaky.
