PNB Acid Primer (15ml)
Product Description: PNB Acid Primer is a heavy-duty professional preparation agent designed for clients with "problematic" nail plates. This is the ultimate solution for hyperhidrosis (excessively oily or sweaty hands) and nails prone to severe lifting or peeling. By slightly opening the keratin scales of the nail plate, it creates a powerful chemical bond between the natural nail and the artificial material. This is a "must-have" for high-stress nail extensions using acrylic or hard gel systems where maximum adhesion is the absolute priority.
Key Features & Benefits:
-
Maximum Adhesion: Provides a superior bond for complex modeling, especially effective for acrylic systems and heavy builder gels.
-
Deep Dehydration: Effectively removes deep-seated moisture and natural oils from the nail plate, creating a perfectly dry surface for the product to grip.
-
Antiseptic Protection: Helps prevent the development of pathogens or "greenies" under the artificial material by thoroughly sanitizing the nail surface.
-
Problem-Nail Specialist: Specifically formulated for clients whose manicures usually last less than two weeks due to natural body chemistry.
-
Economic Application: The thin consistency and integrated brush allow for a "dry brush" application, meaning one 15ml bottle will last for hundreds of procedures.
-
Fast Air-Dry: No lamp required; the primer evaporates in seconds, leaving a chalky, white-matte finish that signals the nail is ready for the base layer.
Safety & Application Guidelines:
Important: Acid Primer is a potent chemical. It should be used with caution and only on the natural nail plate.
-
Step 1: Perform a standard hygienic manicure and buff the nail gently to remove the shine.
-
Step 2: Degrease the nail thoroughly with PNB Nail Prep.
-
Step 3: Wipe the primer brush against the neck of the bottle to remove excess liquid. The brush should be almost dry.
-
Step 4: Apply a tiny amount to the center of the nail. The liquid will spread toward the edges on its own. Avoid contact with the cuticle or side walls.
-
Step 5: Wait 30–60 seconds for the primer to air-dry completely (the nail will look white and "frosty").
-
Step 6: Proceed immediately with your base coat or modeling gel.
Critical Notes:
-
Skin Contact: If the product touches the skin, it may cause a temporary stinging sensation or redness. Rinse with cool water if contact occurs.
-
Crystallization: In temperatures below 15°C–18°C, acid primer can freeze/crystallize. If the product arrives frozen, do not open it immediately as the brush may break. Allow it to reach room temperature naturally until it returns to a liquid state.
Pro Tip: Not every client needs an acid primer. For standard nails, use PNB Bond Control (acid-free). Reserve the Acid Primer for clients with oily nail plates or those whose extensions consistently lift at the base.
