Application & Texturing Techniques

1. Prepare the Canvas: Apply your background color gel and cure completely. For the ultimate contrast, seal with a matte topcoat and cure—this makes the clear, glossy 3D texture of the etching gel pop beautifully.

2. Mix Before Use: Gently stir (mix) the gel inside the pot with a spatula or clean tool before application to ensure the viscosity is perfectly uniform.

3. Sculpt & Texture: Using a fine liner, short detailer, or silicone sculpting tool, apply S122 Etching Gel to the nail. Pull your brush deliberately to leave textured ridges, or use a dotting tool to score lines and scratch patterns into the gel.
