SAGA Stamping Paint Black 1
SAGA Professional Stamping Paint No. 01 (Black)
SAGA Professional Stamping Paint No. 01 is the absolute "must-have" foundation for any nail artist. This is a pure, deep Jet Black with a solid enamel finish. Because black is the most commonly used color for outlines and high-contrast designs, No. 01 is engineered to be exceptionally ink-like and opaque.
Key Product Features
-
Ultra-Black Enamel Finish: A dense, light-absorbing black with zero shimmer. It provides the sharpest possible definition for intricate lace, geometric patterns, and fine-line detailing.
-
Supreme Opacity: This is one of the most pigmented blacks on the market. It is designed to be 100% opaque in a single thin layer, making it stand out vividly even over bright neons, glitters, or holographic bases.
-
Air-Dry Formula: Lacquer-based and fast-acting. It dries naturally in 15–20 seconds; no UV/LED lamp is required.
-
Sticky Phase (Foil Ready): Like most SAGA core colors, it retains a slight tackiness for a few seconds after transfer. This makes it perfect for "black-out" foil casting or adding holographic effects to black stamped lines.
-
Exceptional Detail Transfer: The viscosity is thick enough to prevent "bleeding" into the grooves of the plate, ensuring your designs have crisp, professional edges.

Professional Usage Tips
-
The Go-To Outliner: Use No. 01 for the "outline" layer in reverse stamping (where you fill in the design with other colors before applying it to the nail).
-
Clean-up is Critical: Black pigment is very staining. Clean your stamping plate with 100% pure acetone immediately. If you leave it too long, it can be difficult to remove from the microscopic etchings of the plate.
-
Stamper Care: Only use a lint roller or adhesive tape to clean black paint from your silicone stamper. Using acetone on the stamper head will eventually make it "cloudy" and cause pick-up issues.
-
Smear Prevention: Black is the most likely color to smear under a top coat. To keep your lines sharp, "float" a large bead of top coat over the nail surface so the brush never actually touches the black paint.
